The name of the state-owned Hungarian record company that issued Pink Floyd records was called "Magyar Hanglemezgyártó Vállalat" (Hungarian Record Producing Company) or "MHV." Until 1989, it was the only record company in Hungary that could legally issue records. "Gong" and "Favorit" were sub-labels under MHV, as were Pepita, Bravo, Start, Krém, Qualiton, and Hungaroton.
