  4. Art of the Dead - A Celebration of the Artists Behind the American Rock Poster Movement

    Synopsis: A book about the artists who created many of the rock posters, from the 1960s onward. Includes information about Wes Wilson, Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelley, Victor Moscoso, Rick Griffin, Lee Conklin, David Singer, Bonnie Maclean, Randy Tuten, Gary Grimshaw, Peter Max, and many others. Features a picture of a blue line illustration board by Rick Griffin, for concerts at the Avalon Ballroom on August 2-4, 1968, that includes Pink Floyd, but was never used. Also has a picture of a Pink Floyd poster for the Fillmore by Bonnie Maclean, and an autographed copy of the Pink Floyd Pig poster for the concerts at the Oakland Coliseum on May 9-10, 1977, by Randy Tuten and William Bostedt.

Features detailed information on various Pink Floyd concert posters.

Also includes the poster for the Kralingen Pop Festival, 1970, that included Pink Floyd.

  3. Reasons to be Cheerful - The Life and work of Barney Bubbles

    Synopsis: A book about the poster artist EMEK, and his many works of art. This book mainly covers his poster art from 2002-2010. Features a picture of the Coachella 2008 poster that he created (Roger Waters performed at this festival, but is not mentioned on the poster).

    Synopsis: A book documenting the art of Michael English, one of Britain's legendary poster artists, and former member of design team Hapshash and the Coloured Coat. Includes Pink Floyd posters from the UFO Club on June 2, 1967, the 5th Dimension on September 22, 1967, the Middle Earth Club on March 16, 1968, and The First International Rome Pop Festival in May 1968.

Includes official reprints of thirty of Lundgren's postcard posters, including the Pink Floyd poster for the Grande Ballroom concert on July 12, 1968, and the Oakland Pop Festival poster with Pink Floyd listed on September 1, 1968.

    Synopsis: Although this book is about the Austin, Texas music venue, the Armadillo World Headquarters, this book is filled with pictures of the posters for the venue. Includes a 61 page appendix of poster art. No Pink Floyd content, however.


  2. California Dreams - The Art of Stanley Mouse

    Synopsis: A look at the life and art of Stanley Mouse, one of the premiere San Francisco poster artists. Includes poster art and album cover art. Does not contain any Pink Floyd art, although he was an influence on other artists of the time period.

    Synopsis: A book about the artwork of German poster artist Gunther Kieser, published by the Museum fur Kunsthandwerk, Frankfurt am Main. Written in German with lots of illustrations.


  7. Victor Moscoso - Psychedelic Drawings 1967-1982

    Synopsis: A museum book about West Coast poster artist Victor Moscoso and his artwork from 1967 to 1982. Includes drawings and posters for artists such as The Who, The Doors, and Zap Comix. Although this book does not contain any specific Pink Floyd references, Moscosco's work influenced numerous other Pink Floyd poster artists.
